How long lash extensions last depends largely on the care they get after the treatment. A few simple habits help your lashes look neat for longer.
The first 48 hours
To let the adhesive fully set, try not to wet your lashes for the first two days, and stay away from steam, saunas and heavy sweating.
Daily cleansing
- Use an oil-free cleanser that is safe for lash extensions.
- Gently brush your lashes every day with a clean, soft spoolie.
- Remove eye makeup slowly, without rubbing.
What to avoid
- Using an eyelash curler or mascara
- Rubbing your eyes or pulling at your lashes
- Sleeping face down, pressed into the pillow
Refill intervals
Because natural lashes shed in cycles, the extensions fall out with them. For a consistently neat look, book refill appointments at the intervals your specialist recommends.
